Recent Project: Parapet Repair and Lead Flashing Installation, Archway

This parapet wall in Archway was causing internal damp due to blown rendering and missing lead flashings. We stripped back the damaged render, installed new code 4 lead flashings, and applied fresh waterproof rendering to fully resolve the issue.

Removed all loose and blown rendering from the parapet wall
Applied PVA and water solution to prepare the surface
Fitted new code 4 lead flashings chased into the wall at 2.5mm depth, secured with hall clips
Applied new render using a sand, cement, lime, and waterproofing additive mix
Cleaned down and treated new leadwork with patination oil
